More Than Just Dentistry - A Look Inside Our Tenafly & Oradell Family
A Day in the Life at Our Office
Every morning, before the first patient walks through our doors, our team gathers for our daily huddle. On paper, it’s a quick meeting to review the schedule, but in reality, it’s something much more meaningful. It’s our moment to connect, to share a few laughs, and to prepare ourselves not just for the day’s appointments, but for the people behind them.
Even though we have two locations, Tenafly and Oradell, our offices are always in close contact. We text, call, and check in throughout the day. Whether it’s coordinating patient care, sharing updates, or just sending a quick word of encouragement, it truly feels like one big family spread across two homes.
During our huddles, we talk about our patients, the happy news and the challenges. Someone might mention that a patient just had a baby, and we all smile, ready to celebrate that joy when they come in. Another patient might be recovering from surgery, and we remind each other to be extra gentle and attentive. These small discussions help us stay emotionally connected to the people we care for, beyond their dental needs.
I’m incredibly grateful to have a team that shares this philosophy. Everyone here, from the front desk to the hygienists, assistants, and doctors, understands that dentistry isn’t just about fixing teeth, it’s about caring for people. You can feel that compassion in every interaction. There’s laughter at the front desk, words of reassurance in the operatory, and teamwork everywhere you look.
What makes me proudest is that this culture of kindness doesn’t have to be taught, it’s who my team is. They celebrate patients’ joys, empathize with their struggles, and treat everyone who walks through our doors as family.
At the end of the day, when the last patient leaves and the lights dim, there’s a quiet satisfaction that fills the office, a feeling that we made a real difference. It’s that shared sense of purpose that connects our Tenafly and Oradell teams no matter where we are.
To our patients, thank you for trusting us with your care and allowing us to be part of your lives. And to my team, thank you for your compassion, dedication, and heart. You remind me every day that what we do here goes far beyond dentistry, it’s about people, connection, and family.
